When you are ready to download and play at PKR, there are a few things that you should know so that your experience is smooth and problem free. PKR software was created to be compatible with as many recent model Personal Computers as possible (computers built within the last 4 or 5 years). Currently, PKR software isn’t compatible with Macintosh machines, but the company is working on the development of Mac friendly software currently. Below is a list of minium requirements for successfully using the PKR software:

Graphics Card 32 Mb with DirectX 9.0c compatible drivers (Nvidia GeForce3/ATi Radeon 8500 or equivalent)

Other Internet Explorer 6, DirectX9.0c

The next thing that you will need to know is how to download and install the PKR software. First and foremost, you should know that this is a FREE download. Then, after you have downloaded the installation pack (by clicking on the link on PKR’s website), simply double click on the “Install PKR” icon on your desktop or click “Run” when the dialog box appears. The rest of the installation process is automatic. Once you have completed the installation process, just click the “Play PKR now” icon that will appear or double click the “Play PKR” icon on your desktop to launch the software. When you first launch the game, you will be asked to create your account. If you plan on making a ‘fun’ account, simply choose a username, password and provide a valid email address. Please note that once you create your account, your username can not be changed. If you choose to make a real money account, you will be walked through a simple sign up process that only takes a couple minutes to get through!
